Bring up the menu by clicking the three-bars () icon, and select 'Families' from the drop-down.

If you have not already signed in, you will be prompted to sign in or sign up.

You must be signed in to view any data on the website.

If you have already registered with the website, enter your sign-in ID and password, and click Sign In.

If you haven't registered yet, click on the Sign up Now link.

You will need to provide your name, e-mail ID and mobile number to register with the website.

These data are required to authenticate you when you access data on the website and communicate with you.

Please provide your real name, e-mail ID and mobile number.

If your sign-up attempt is successful, you will receive a mail on the provided e-mail ID with the following:

1. The name, email ID and contact number provided by you
2. Your sign-in password, which is system generated
3. A link to verify your e-mail ID

Things to note:

1. If you can’t find the email in your inbox, try your Spam or Junk e-mail folders
2. You can sign in only on successful verification of your e-mail ID by clicking the link
3. The password is case-sensitive, and it can be changed after you sign in

When you click the e-mail verification link, you will be taken to the website again, where you should see a page similar to the one displayed here.

Click the Sign In button to continue.

This time, enter your e-mail ID and the password emailed to you, and click the Sign In button.

You will see the ‘Families’ page. Select the parameters to display data.

You must select the Gotra and the State.

City and Locality parameters are optional.

After selecting the parameters you will see the list of families matching the parameters.

The count of members is displayed below each family record.

To add your family data, press the + icon on the bottom-right corner of your screen.

You will be prompted to enter the details of the family and the first member of the family.

The first member is always taken as the head of the family.

Other members can be added later.

You are expected to enter data using Camel Case (First letter in uppercase and rest in lower case) while filling up the form.

This makes your entry look better on the directory listing.

Please enter correct data to reduce the publishing time.

Once you have completed the data entry work for the member (head), click the Save button on the top right corner of the screen.

If your entry is saved successfully, you will be shown the record saved by you.

Here you can click the Edit button to make corrections to the record if required.

If you are satisfied with your entry, click the Back () button to go to the Family Details page.

If your entry is saved successfully, you can now view the record saved by you in the Family Details page.

Your entry needs to be approved by the office before getting displayed online. However, you can continue to make updates or add members to the family.

A user can enter data for only one family, and edit the record for only the same.

You can change your sign-in password by tapping of clicking the Change Password option from the User dropdown menu.

You will need to provide your current password, enter the new password and also confirm the new password.

After entering the values click the Update button.

If your password is changed successfully, you will be signed out and redirected to the home screen.

Once you are done, please don't forget to sign out

The system will sign you out automatically of the website is left idle for a long time.
